UNIQUE BENEFITS OF THE HEART AND THE AGENCY

Harist Al-Muhasibi rahimahullah said:

"Among the best of worship is the heart filled with love to obedience. If your heart has been overwhelmed by such feelings then the limbs will act according to what they see in the heart. Because, maybe limbs are busy worshiping, while the heart is idle silence. "

"Then how is the form of worship outside the limbs? How does the worship of the heart flow to the limbs? "

He replied, "That is when the heart becomes a place for distress and sadness, pity and need, repentance, tawadu ', and urgency towards God, a sincere attitude to Him and love for what Allah loves, and hate what God hates.

If he responds to God with this kind of heart, then the limbs will follow the motion and rise up to obey. This condition will manifest if the recesses of the heart have been filled with dhikr to Allah and the memory of the Hereafter.

On the other hand, the heart should also be filled with the recognition of God's blessings, happy with Him, glad to worship Him, yearn for Him, always happy to thank Him, and hope for His forgiveness.

If the heart responds to God with a state of heart like this, then his limbs will do worship and good deeds. The limbs will do the deeds with pleasure, joy and pleasure. "
