Allah says:
ومن يطع الله والرسول فأولئك مع الذين النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا
"They will be with those who are blessed with favor by Allah: the Prophets, the siddians, the martyrs, and the pious. And they are the best friends. "(Surat Al Nisaa: 69)

Allah Ta'ala says:
ولا تحسبن الذين قتلوا في سبيل الله أمواتا بل أحياء عند ربهم يرزقون فرحين بما آتاهم الله من فضله ويستبشرون بالذين لم يلحقوا بهم من خلفهم ألا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون
"Do not suppose that those who are slain in the way of Allah are dead, even they are alive by their Lord by earning sustenance, they are rejoiced by the grace of God that He has given them, and they rejoice over those who are still remain behind those who have not yet overtaken them, that there is no fear concerning them and neither shall they grieve. (Surah Ali Imran: 169-170)
